Uchi-deshi (内弟子, lit. "inside student") is a Japanese term for a live-in student/apprentice who trains under and assists a sensei on a full-time basis. The system exists in Japanese martial arts.

Our Mission
Our mission is to perpetuate the art of Muso Shinden Ryu Iaido to all those who are willing to practice humbly and earnestly, in the United States of America and worldwide.
Contact us to began your study in Iaido (Japanese Swordsmanship), we offer an invitation to practice/keiko at our dojo. We are also available offering to teach classes and seminars at dojo we are invited to.
If you are interested in hosting us to teach at your dojo for either a class or a seminar please contact us to find out about our free dojo friendship visits, offered on limited occasions when possible to build new relationships.

This is important to emphasize for respect for his teacher…The Sensei/Teacher of Daniel Rominski, Sensei is Roger Wehrhahn, Shihan.
Although Daniel Rominski, Sensei also had the great privilege of studying Iaido many times with his teacher’s teacher Mitsuzuka Takeshi, Sensei during trips to dojo, seminars, camps, visits from Japan and visiting Japan Roger Wehrhahn, Shihan is his direct Sensei.
However San Shin Kai Iaido lineage at TheDOJO is handed down by Mitsuzuka Takeshi, Sensei to Roger Wehrhahn, Sensei to Daniel Rominski, Sensei. Mitsuzuka Munehiro, Sensei (the son of the late Mitsuzuka Takeshi, Sensei) is also a senior instructor, Shihan and advisor of continuing his father’s legacy of the San Shin Kai in North America; whom Daniel Rominski Sensei now also has the great privilege of studying with as well.

Mitsuzuka Takeshi Sensei began his study of Iaido with Nakayama Hakudo Sensei in the 1950’s. Mitsuzuka Takeshi Sensei has passed down what he had learned through the Iaido association he founded and named The San Shin Kai. Roger Wehrhan Shihan through the San Shin Kai continues this legacy together with Mitsuzuka Munehiro, Sensei.
